Lunch on the Lawn AT HOME!- April 1st:
You are invited to join us for a special Lunch on the Lawn this week on Wednesday, April 1st any time between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Even though we cannot gather together in the courtyard at Cerritos, we can still enjoy Lunch on the Lawn! Get out your portable speakers, your lawn blankets and chairs, and enjoy a picnic lunch in your backyard.
Ways to interact during our virtual Lunch on the Lawn Event:
- Have your children plan the picnic lunch and encourage them to help prepare the food.
- Let the children set up a special picnic area in the yard. They can make their own special decorations such as signs/posters to display during your picnic.
- RSVP for the Lunch on the Lawn event on Facebook. This will allow you to interact with other families directly through the event.
- Watch for Mrs. Gingell to go “Live” on Facebook during the Lunch on the Lawn event. Interact with her by leaving comments and she will chat with you!
- Take some pictures and video that we can share on our school Facebook Page. You can send them via Facebook chat or email them to jharris@kyrene.org.
- Facetime or Skype personally with other Cerritos families during your picnic.
