OUTDOOR LEARNING SPACES INITIATIVE!
Mrs. Gingell has a vision of creating cool Outdoor Learning Spaces for Cerritos students to use as outdoor classrooms. Sturdy, outdoor tables will be set up in our newly renovated courtyard area for classes to use for learning, reading, fun activities and even lunch! Her mission is to have 16 tables to accommodate 2 outdoor classes: 8 tables near the library and 8 tables near the garden. These Outdoor Learning Spaces will provide our Cerritos learners with enjoyment for years to come! Our current donations have already paid for 8 of those tables! We are halfway there! Go, Speedy, Go!
RACE TO THE PEAK – LINK CREW CHALLENGE!
In support of our Outdoor Learning Spaces Initiative, Speedy is challenging each Link Crew to the goal of raising $7,000 for Cerritos! Mrs. Gingell & Mr. O’Donnell are also getting in on the action by agreeing to outrageously dress in the color of the winning link crew – spraying their hair, wearing crew colors and really celebrating the winning crew’s victory in the RACE TO THE PEAK – LINK CREW CHALLENGE!
