Holiday shopping is right around the corner (for most of us who haven’t started yet!) Did you know that you, Grandma/Grandpa, aunts/uncles could all be earning money for Cerritos while doing your normal shopping? Here are a few ways:
Amazon— When making a purchase through Amazon, access Amazon through the Cerritos Amazon link. The rest of your online shopping experience is exactly the same. The great thing is that Amazon will give our school a percentage of any purchases you make when you access it through the special Cerritos link. Be sure to share this link with family and friends too!
Target— Target has several very easy ways to earn money for Cerritos.
- Apply for a Target RedCard credit card. Once approved, be sure to designate Cerritos as your desired school for 1% of your purchases to be donated to Cerritos!
- Already have a Target RedCard? Be sure to designate Cerritos as your desired school. 1% of your purchases will be donated to Cerritos!
- Not interested in another credit card? That’s ok! You can link your current checking account to a Target Debit Card. Just bring one of your blank checks to the check-out register next time you shop at Target. It will literally just take 2 minutes to set up the Target debit card and you will start saving 5% off your purchases right away! 1% of your purchases will be donated to Cerritos!
Target RedCards (Credit & Debit) give you a 5% discount on every Target purchase, Free Shipping on target.com, and an extra 30 days to return items!
Note: So far, less than 10% of our Cerritos families have a Target RedCard set up with Cerritos as their designated school. Just think how much money we could earn for Cerritos if even half of us set this up!
Box Tops for Education— To earn even more Box Tops for our school, you can log on to btfe.com and shop for the holidays at the Box Top Marketplace . There are over 400 online stores available (like the Apple Store, Best Buy, eToys, Expedia, Kohls, Southwest Airlines, Shutterfly, Starbucks, ToysRUs, Victoria Secret, and Walmart to name a few!) Just log in to the Box Top website, select Cerritos as the school you wish to support, find a store, and shop away! No clipping required!
