Kids Care Club is getting ready to start at Cerritos! This club is open to all students. It is a chance for the students to participate in community service projects by giving of their time and energy. Students donate their lunch time recess time to help with projects benefiting local organizations such as the Kyrene Family Resource Center, animal shelters, children’s hospitals, and nursing homes.
To help kick off the club, we need donations of the following items:
~ 2 yards of fleece fabric for our fleece blankets to be donated to the Kyrene Family Resource Center
~ 1 yard of fleece fabric for our rope toys to be donated to the Animal Shelter in Tempe
~ Any gently used children’s books
Donations should be labeled “Kids Care Club” and can be dropped off at the Front Office. Thanks in advance for your support!
