Roadrunner Race FAQs:
- When is the Roadrunner Race? Tuesday, August 30th. Each grade will take turns running the fun run. The race schedule will be distributed.
- Can parents attend the Roadrunner Race? Yes! Parents are WELCOME to attend and we need volunteers for a successful event! Click here to sign-up.
- What should my child wear? Dress for P.E. class (sneakers!) but be on the lookout for your child’s class to have a special theme (ie: a certain color, crazy socks or hair).
- How can my friends/family sponsor my child in the Roadrunner Race? Give or mail them the sponsor letter sent home with your child. They fill it out and send to school with a donation. You can also direct them to cerritospto.org to donate!
- Can I get more than one sponsor? Yes! The letter is attached for more copies.
- Is it a per lap pledge? No, this is a one-time, flat donation amount.
- I made a donation to “Be a Beacon”, is it also my child’s sponsorship in the race? Yes!
- Are all students able to participate in the race? Yes, regardless of donation.
The child with the most sponsors wins a VIP prize: Principal for the Day or Limo Ride to School (with a friend!).
