Cerritos Spring Carnival – Fri, April 10th 5:30-8:30pm!

Our annual Spring Carnival is coming up on Friday, April 10^th from 5:30-8:30p.m. We hope you are all planning to attend! This year, we will have a mechanical shark, carnival swing ride, inflatables, cake walk, carnival games, a marshmallow launch contest, a petting zoo, and even pony rides! Be sure to come hungry (and with some cash) as we will have several FOOD TRUCKS with a wide selection of specialty hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, corn dogs, jumbo hot dogs, chicken tenders, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, kettle corn, and much more (see menus below)! We also will have Yoasis and Water & Ice on hand serving up some delicious cool treats!

Here is some more important information:

VOLUNTEER POWER! We need over 100 volunteers to make this a successful event! That means that we need you! Please sign up for a shift while your children are enjoying the carnival. Also, if you have any middle and/or high school age children, we would love to have them and their friends sign up to volunteer as well! To volunteer, please click here.
Raffle Basket Preview Days – Thank you for all the classroom donations for the carnival raffle baskets! We have over 30 raffle baskets (some worth over $350) to raffle off. Woolaver Orthodontics has also donated a full set of braces (valued over
$5000) for one of our raffle baskets! The Raffle Baskets will be on display at parent pickup on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for you to preview. Raffle tickets can be purchased those days for $1/each or 6 for $5. You need not be present at the time of the drawing on Friday night to win. If your name is drawn, the PTO will contact you.
Carnival Ticket Pre-Orders– Buy your hand stamps, tickets, and marshmallow launchers in advance by completing the Carnival Pre-Order Form! Pre-orders must be submitted by next Wednesday, April 8. Pre-ordered items can be picked up the night of the carnival at the front Ticket Booth.
“Bake” Walk Donations – Love to bake? We are in need of donations for the “Bake” Walk of the Carnival. Cakes, cookies, muffins, rice krispie treats, brownies, cupcakes, mini-cupcakes…any sweet treat! Donations can be homemade or store-bought. If possible, please package in small Ziploc bags in quantities of 3-5, depending on size. Donations may be dropped off on Friday in the morning during parent drop-off, at the Front Office during the day, or after school at parent pick-up.

As the school year is winding down, we are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our Cerritos Roadrunners during this fun and festive Carnival! It is sure to be a beautiful Arizona evening with family and friends. Also, the event is open to the community, so please invite your non-Cerritos friends and neighbors as well. It is our BIGGEST event of the year!
